Modern Cottage near Thornbury on Georgian Bay

These are images of not-quite-completed, modern, year-round lakeside cottage for a family that skis in the winter and enjoys the water in the summer. The building is broad and parallel to the shore to make the most of the views, capture light at different times of day, and to encourage natural ventilation.

The cottage is primarily for a couple but also, importantly for grown children and their families. The upper floor can be divided into two apartments by closing two large sliding doors. The upper level rooms all face the lake.
