Cottage on a hill facing a lake

This cottage was designed for a precipitous north-facing slope on a small lake near Parry Sound.

The building construction was kept simple by making a single slope roof that shelters all. The roof flies over the second floor bedrooms and descends to the end of the main floor sitting roof -making a big space there.
