At home in the landscape: Cottages and Country Houses
What we do
While we always did some design work in Toronto, we specialised in designing cottages and country houses in the Ontario landscape.
We aimed to make beautiful buildings that comfortably enhance the pleasure of living in exceptional landscapes. We worked closely with our clients to understand how they would inhabit the property, and we arranged the buildings to provide a variety of views of and exposures to the landscape. Major rooms were arranged to provide beautiful views out and comfortable interiors within. We worked to fit out the interiors in detail so that the functional areas particular to country life are especially suitable.
