Site for a new cottage near Ottawa
This wonderful rock on a lake near Ottawa is the site for a new modern cottage. The existing, rather badly built, cottage will be replaced by a new structure which is to make the most of this dramatic site. The water on the shore in the little bay adjacent makes a beautiful musical sound. The shore faces north and is shaded by high trees from behind so the new design will need to bring light in from the roof and to provide a sunny deck or terrace on the edge.
